Properties of Medicinal Ingredients:

Linum usitatissimum: Flaxseeds are a rich source of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), an omega 3 essential fatty acid. Studies show that ALA is an anti-inflammatory compound that is beneficial for the treatment of arthritis.
Natural Eggshell Membrane: Egg membrane is the thin, proteinaceous layer between the raw eggshell and the egg white. Biologically, it’s there to work with the shell to protect the egg yolk from outside contaminants. Egg membrane is mechanically removed from eggshells obtained through egg breaking facilities (USDA inspected and regulated) in the USA via Biova’s patented OvaPure™ process. Salix alba:  Bark from this deciduous shrub has been used traditionally for pain relief from rheumatic and arthritic conditions, headaches, and feverish conditions. White Willow Bark was the basis for the synthesis of aspirin. It contains salicin and related compounds.
Harpagophytum procumbens: Devil's Claw is a tree native to the southern regions of Africa and gets its name from the hooks which cover its fruit. The most well know use for devil's claw is as an anti-inflammatory and analgesic (pain-relieving) agent.
